Pedro Parra is an icon in the wine world. With a Masters and PhD in Precision Agriculture and Terroir, he is a world-renowned soil and vineyard mapping expert with many wineries across the globe coming to him for consultation. He’s spent years digging holes for soil analysis and showing wineries how to manage their vineyards, but he dreamed of making his own wines here in Itata, his native home.
‘Monk’ Cinsault – This silky, deep red is brimming with cherry, cranberry, floral aromas and wild herbs. The palate is deep with fine tannins and fresh acidity.
